Principal Rameka Davis and Woodlawn High School hosted over 40 professional recruiters for the school’s Professional Day event on February 16, 2023. The list included representatives from Alabama Power, FedEx, The Salvation Army and Northwestern Mutual. Colleges and Universities included The University of Alabama, the University of Montevello, Mississippi State and Stillman.
Woodlawn student Erik Curtis received a $40,000 scholarship to Allen University during the event. Also, several Woodlawn students were awarded scholarships during the event as well that totaled as much as $8,000.
