At age 19, Destiny Nelson-Miles is making major moves. This former Woodlawn High School student who graduated as class valedictorian with 60+ hours of college credit, will graduate in a few weeks from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in finance. Destiny’s early success is being credited to the Birmingham City Schools' Early College Program and the Birmingham Promise.
